The primary responsibility of the Industrial Mechanic/Electrician is to provide high-quality installation, repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of various food processing and packaging equipment. Our Industrial Mechanic/Electrician’s also complete preventative maintenance assignments and respond to line and equipment calls. All duties are performed while adhering to our high expectations for producing a superior quality product and maintaining operational efficiency, as well as food safety/quality and safety standards.
Qualified candidates will offer milk processing equipment maintenance experience as well as a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in at least one of the following areas: electrical equipment repair/electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays, motor control logic, schematic/drawings interpretation, and fabricating stainless steel. Candidates who offer experience with AC/DC variable speed drives, control systems PLC programming, and knowledge of NEC will be given special consideration. Candidates with an Electro-mechanical Associates degree are preferred.
In addition, we seek a candidate with solid communication and team work skills as well as a self-starter with a passion for continuous improvement. Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery/tools as well as the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
