We are currently seeking a highly qualified Industrial Mechanic. The primary responsibility of the Industrial Mechanic is to provide high-quality installation, repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of various food processing and packaging equipment. Industrial Mechanic's also complete preventative maintenance assignments and respond to line and equipment calls. All duties are performed while adhering to our high expectations for producing a superior quality product and maintaining operational efficiency, as well as food safety/quality and safety standards.
Qualified candidates will offer milk processing equipment maintenance experience as well as a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in at least one of the following areas: electrical equipment repair/electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays, motor control logic, schematic/drawings interpretation, and fabricating stainless steel. Candidates who offer experience with AC/DC variable speed drives, control systems PLC programming, and knowledge of NEC will be given special consideration. Candidates with an Electro-mechanical Associates degree are preferred.
In addition, we seek a candidate with solid communication and team work skills as well as a self-starter with a passion for continuous improvement. Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery/tools as well as the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. This position will be a 3rd shift position, however, all candidates must be willing and able to work any shift, any day of the week.
