Safety / Environmental Manager

Primarily responsible to develop, implement and administer company-wide safety and environmental programs. This will be accomplished through:

Developing procedures to identify and control workplace hazards,
Providing programs and guidance to managers regarding safety and environmental programs, as well as conducting plant audits,
Providing safety training to supervisors and employees,
Serving as a liaison with local, state and federal environmental and safety regulatory agencies, as well as
Administering workers' compensation claims.

The qualified candidate will offer a bachelor's degree in safety management or equivalent as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. BelGioioso offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including health, dental, 401(k) and profit sharing.
