Artigiano® Vino Rosso Mushroom Slider


  • 16 oz ground beef sirloin
  • Tsp salt
  • Tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ Tsp thyme
  • ¼ Tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 oz baby bella mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup merlot wine
  • 8 oz La Bottega di BelGioioso® Artigiano® Vino Rosso cheese, crumbled


  • Combine beef with salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, garlic powder in mixing bowl. Shape into 2 oz. patties. Refrigerate patties until ready to cook.
  • Slice a crusty baguette into slider size pieces and halve each one.
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté until they start to brown. Add the wine and stir until the majority of the moisture from the wine evaporates off.
  • Lightly oil a grill or pan and grill burgers over medium heat. Cook thoroughly on each side. Add Artigiano Vino Rosso cheese crumbles and cook until cheese has melted. Remove from heat.
  • Toast slider buns, cut side down on grill or in pan. Assemble bottom half of baguette slice with 2 Tbsp. mushrooms, grilled burger and remaining baguette slice.
