Ingredients

1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 shallot, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes
1 lb. ground beef
Salt & pepper to taste
1 lb. pasta, cooked al dente
1 cup BelGioioso Ricotta con Latte® Whole Milk cheese
4 oz. BelGioioso Parmesan cheese, shredded

Directions

For the sauce, heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add shallot and cook until tender, then add garlic and tomatoes. Allow sauce to simmer 30 to 40 minutes.

Brown ground beef with salt and pepper, drain and set aside.

In large pasta bowl, place the cooked pasta and top with tomato sauce on one side and ground beef on the other. Top with the BelGioioso Ricotta con Latte® and bring the pasta bowl to the table. Toss all the ingredients together with the pasta and serve immediately with shredded Parmesan.
